Richard Glenn Miller
1932-2012
Dick was born on Apr 18, 1932 in Congo, West Virginia to Russell Glen Miller and Zelma I. Miller. He was an active member of VFW Post 8661, Shawnee, Colorado. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lois Miller; sons, Lee Miller and wife, Rose of New Bern, NC, and Steve Miller and wife, Karen of Conifer, CO; 2 granddaughters, Ashley Mares and husband, Joey of New Bern, NC and Erin Miller of Wilmington, NC; and one great-great granddaughter, Brooklyn Mares.
A USAF Veteran of the Korea Conflict and Vietnam War. He retired after 20 years of service at the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. He also received a Bronze Star for valor.
Memorial Service for Richard Glenn Miller, age 80 of Bailey, CO, will be Friday, Jan 04, 2013at 02:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home - West Metro Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of Dick are suggested to the Wounded Warrior Project.
