Richard is survived by his parents, Amanda Shepard and Oliver Hargrove; sister, Melany Carrillo-Avila; grandmother, Samantha Shepard; grandfather, Francis Plendl; great-grandmother, Mary Jean Shepard; uncle and aunt, Shane Shepard & Tara Crews; five cousins, Mathias Shepard, Elijah Shepard, Aria-Rei Shepard, Hailey Carrillo, and Donovan Hernandez. He is preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Richard Shepard.
