Richard Peter Browne, 71, of Aurora, passed away February 15, 2016.
He was born September 13, 1944 in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Robert and Mary Catherine (Henn) Browne. He was a graduate of Aurora Central High School. He attended Emily Griffith. On February 8, 1975 he married Janet Johnson, of Aurora, Colorado.
Richard is survived by his wife, Janet Browne; son, Eric (Sandy) Browne; daughter, Catherine (Eric) Banks; three grandchildren, Whitney Givings, Isiahia Banks, and Skye Banks; three brothers, Robert Browne, John (Patricia) Browne, and Martin (Judith) Browne; and sister, Maureen (Paul) Johnson. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Kitty Browne and brother, Joseph Patrick Browne.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Denver Hospice, 501 S. Cherry Street, Suite 700, Denver, CO 80246.
