Ricky Lee Frances

Age 60, of Aurora, passed away unexpectedly at Aurora South Medical Center, October 31, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Laurie of 21 years, daughter, Kim (Kevin) Phillips, granddaughter, Genesis, sister, Belinda Ann Edwards & Terry Hudson, and his aunt, Bonnie O' Conner. He was also loved by Mary & Fritz Geers, Jackie Seals, Jeff Mihm, Steve (Dena) Mihm and Brad (Amy) Mihm as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded is death by 2 unborn angels and his parents, Leroy and Eara Mae of La Marque,Texas.

Ricky was born September 14, 1953 in Galveston, Texas where he attended Lake Road Elementary and La Marque High School where he played football. Later he went to Morgan State on a football scholarship.

In 1976, he moved to Denver, Colorado and has lived in Denver for 37 years. He attended the Boston Street Church of Christ and was a 36 year employee of King Soopers Main Bakery. Ricky was a retired member of Rocky Mountain Riders Motorcycle Club and a current member of the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers International Union (BCTGM Union) Local 26.

A visitation will be held Thursday, November 7, 2013, from 4-8 PM with a 7 PM Rosary at Newcomer Funeral Home-East Chapel. A funeral mass will be on Friday, November 8, 2013 at 10:30 AM with a viewing 30 minutes prior at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Aurora, CO. Reception at the church following services.
