Robert D. Buck

Robert Dale Buck Sr., 86 of Westminster Co. went to be with the Lord on August 13th 2017 after a courageous battle with bladder cancer.

He was born on November 18th, 1930 to Hattie and Leonard Buck. Robert, served in the Army, stationed in Germany during the Korean War until March 1952. He married Wanda Grimmett on May 25th 1952 in Eureka Springs, AR. They made their home in Webb City, MO., raising four children. In 1969 Robert moved the family to Westminster, CO where they resided until their final years. Robert worked at Whittaker Corporation until he retired.

Robert is preceded in death by his beloved wife Wanda Buck, parents Hattie and Leonard Buck, Brothers William Buck, Frank Buck, LJ Buck, Jim Buck and sisters Margaret Speer and Nellie Moore.

Robert is survived by his children Robert Buck, Jr. and wife Linda of Evergreen, CO, Sherry Flynn and husband Charles of Longmont, CO, Ron Buck and partner Jeff Heitmeyer of Denver, CO, Tammy Coey and husband Kurt of Sante Fe, NM, 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, sister Mary Vaughn of MI, brother Garry Buck of AZ, brother Danny Buck of MO as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Robert was an incredible man. He will be greatly missed. He knew no stranger and was a friend to everyone he met. His family and friends deeply mourn the loss of his kind, generous heart and free spirit.
