Robert Dale Kinney, 85, of Aurora, CO, passed away March 30, 2014.
Robert Dale Kinney was Born March 20, 1929 in Willington, KS to late Leroy & Nellie Kinney.
Robert graduated from Monument Colorado Consolidated H.S. in 1947, he then enlisted in the US Military in 1947 & served 3 years, during his service he was honored the Army of Occupation Metal from Japan.
He married the late Corona Lee Shores, and they lived together in Redwood City, CA. He relocated to Aurora, CO in 2004, after her passing.
Robert worked at Ampex as a Dispatch Manager.
He loved baseball, football & World Wrestling Entertainment
Roberts generosity and kind heart were an inspiration to his family.
Survived by four children: Debra Diaz & son-in-law David W. Stryker, Aurora, CO; David Kinney of San Mateo, CA; Melody Carton of Poway, CA and Robert Dale Kinney Jr. of Naples, FL.
He also is survived by eight-grand children: Arturo J Diaz III, Alicia M Diaz, Jeremy B Diaz. Melissa Kinney, Jenny Kinney, Jason Carton, Kelly Carton & Anthony Navaro. Four great-grand children: Arianna, Aeva, Charlie, Braden & four nephews, Joe Ditlow, Bob Ditlow, Steve Ditlow, Tom Ditlow
A memorial service & burial will be held at Skylawn Memorial Park, San Mateo, CA. Burial, Wednesday April 9, 2014 at 10am.
