Robert Michael Taylor, age 57 of Denver, Colorado passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012. He was known by many as either "Bob", "Bobby T."or "Mike".
Bob was born in Casper, Wyoming, on October 14, 1955 and moved to Denver very early in his childhood. He attended East High School and entered the U. S. Navy in 1973 where he served first as a corpsman and then as an operating room specialist. After leaving the Navy he worked as a Medical Technician. Eventually, he became a Certified Surgical Assistant and became a part owner in Surgical Associated Services, Incorporated. He ultimately became the sole owner of the firm before entering semi retirement.
He is survived by his wife Jill Roque Taylor, one son Robert Michael Taylor II, and one daughter Justine Loren Taylor. He also leaves behind his mother, DeLora Mottley, four sisters: Sonya Grant, Susan Jackson, Sheryl White and Lee Ann Criswell; his only brother Quintin Durst, and his "handler", Jeff White. There are also numerous nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.
Bob's passions included cooking, traveling, fishing, hunting and, most of all, playing golf. He lived his life to the fullest, was very generous, and was known to be a snappy and colorful dresser and a party animal. He loved pop and soul music from the 70's and 80's and was known to cut a rug or two on the dance floor.
We are blessed to have been graced by his presence, warmed by his laughter and comforted by his support. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.
