Robert "Bob" Williams III, died peacefully in Hospice care in Denver, Colorado on July 25, 2007 at the age of 73. He was born on November 23, 1933 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Marjorie and Robert Paul Williams. The oldest of nine children, he gained an appreciation for hard work early. He spent his life sharing his great love of the water with friends and family, and he incorporated that love into his work during his many years in marine sales. Always an entrepreneur, he started many business adventures over the years from greenhouses to yacht transports, Montana to Florida.
An avid fisherman and adventurer, his happiest times were undoubtedly spent with his buddies questing after the biggest fish around and always lamenting about the one that got away. All the fishing and hunting trips made for good stories, tall tales, and great legends. Always the life of the party, he will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters, 6 children, 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to the nurses and caregivers of Collier Hospice in Wheatridge, Colorado. Thank you for your love and care for our father.
He will be remembered by his family and friends at a memorial service in September 8th, 2007. Please check back on this website for time and location.
