Roberta Ann Hood-Gazvoda
Roberta A. Hood-Gazvoda was born May 22, 1965 in Kansas City, Missouri.
Roberta is survived by her husband Ron Gazvoda of Lakewood, her mother Ellen Keen, stepfather Ed Keen, her brother Robert (Kim) Hood, two sisters, Robin Martin and Rebecca Keen, four nephews (Robert, Ian, Alex and Jacob) and one great-niece (Ally).
Roberta lived in Lakewood most of her adult life and was employed by the University of Denver where she obtained a Master's Degree in Social Work while working in early childhood developmental psychology research at DU. She worked for the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden prior to her death. Roberta was a great influence on many people and will be remembered with love by all. In her words, she wished to be remembered as "She loves the Lord with all of her heart soul, mind and strength."
Services will be held at Grace Fellowship of Lakewood Church, located at 9210 W. 2nd Avenue, Lakewood, CO 80226 on Friday May 13, 2011 at 10:00am. Reception following service at Grace.
Because of Roberta's great love for the Lord and animals please make donations to Colorado Beagle Rescue (www.ColoradoBeagleRescue.net ) or to Grace Fellowship of Lakewood Church (www.GFOL.org ) in lieu of flowers.
