Rod, 64, passed away peacefully at his Westminster home surrounded by his loving wife and children.
Rod was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, moved to Denver and met his wife of 34 years, Lou. He is survived by two children, Rod and Bobbi (Jason), a granddaughter, Kennedy, mother, Ann and two brothers, Boyd and Craig.
He spent his free time with his family and friends, but he considered "heaven" to be jet skiing on the lake. He also enjoyed snowmobiling, working on motors, manicuring his lawn and buying "toys" off of craigslist. While resting in his recliner he enjoyed watching football, NASCAR and action movies.
Rod was a loving husband, caring father, helpful brother, loyal friend, trustworthy mechanic and an all-around great guy with a silly sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
