Roger Winters
Born October 2, 1950 in Stockton, Kansas to father, Edward Thomas Winters and mother, Lena Elizabeth Winters.
Roger graduated in 1968 in Stockton, Kansas and moved to Denver and began a career working for King Soopers. He was a warehouseman. He married the love of his life, Catrina, on September 27, 1980.
He loved to ride motorcycles and went on several runs each year to Sturgis and the Red River Run in New Mexico. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He was fiercely loyal. He retired in 2010 due to illness.
Roger passed on Monday, February 17, 2014 and was preceded in death by his father, Tom Winters; mother, Lena Winters; and sister, Jerry Kershaw. He is survived by his wife, Catrina Winters; son Mike Lopez (Sherrie), grandson Romeo Lopez (Noah and Neomiah), granddaughters Jasmine Lopez and Areanna Lopez (Nazariah); daughter, Mary Garcia, grandson Ezekiel Cisneros, granddaughter Jania Cisneros, grandson Fransisco Garcia, and granddaughter Lea Garcia; brother Ed Winters (Vi), brother Gary Winters (Joyce), sister Beverly Faulkner and sister Shirley Foster (Ralph); many nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.
