Ron Hudson, 70, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and unwavering support for the people fortunate enough to know him.

If you met Ron, chances are you left with a smile. He had a gift for making friends wherever he went. Whether you were a lifelong friend or someone he had just met in the grocery store, Ron would strike up a conversation and make you feel like you belonged. Friendly, funny, and deeply loving, he believed that everyone deserved kindness, acceptance, and an open heart.

Ron was incredibly proud of his sons, Mike and Andy, and nothing brought him greater joy than watching them grow into the men they became. One of the greatest heartbreaks of his life was the loss of his son, Michael. Even while carrying that unimaginable grief, Ron's instinct was to care for everyone else first. He made sure those around him felt supported, comforted, and never alone. That quiet strength and selflessness defined who he was.

Ron found the love of his life in Kathy Bogart. Together they created a beautiful second chapter, blending their families with love, laughter, and unconditional acceptance. Ron embraced Kathy's children as his own, always showing up for them with encouragement, guidance, and a helping hand. Kathy will always be grateful for the family they built together and the love they shared.

In recent years, Ron's greatest joy was his grandson, Matheson. He absolutely adored him. Whether they were playing together, running around the yard, or simply spending time together, Matheson became the light of Ron's life. It is our hope that as Matheson grows, he will always remember his grandpa as the fun-loving man who made him laugh, played endlessly, and loved him beyond measure.

Many people knew Ron through his love of music. As a karaoke host, he didn't just entertain a room—he brought people together. He had a way of encouraging even the shyest person to grab the microphone, laugh a little louder, and enjoy the moment. His singing, humor, and infectious charisma made him the life of every party.

Ron also loved riding his Harley, traveling, and escaping to the mountains. When his boys were young, family camping and fishing trips created memories that lasted a lifetime. One of his favorite destinations was Puerto Rico, where he proudly learned how to make what he claimed was the perfect piña colada. At home, he enjoyed fixing just about anything and remodeling his house, always making it a little more personal and welcoming.

Professionally, Ron worked as a Sales Engineer, where his outgoing personality, problem-solving skills, and genuine interest in people made him successful. Whether at work or in everyday life, he had an incredible ability to connect with others.

Ron was famous for his dad jokes, his love of comedy, and his endless supply of stories. The remarkable thing was that somehow the same stories became funnier every time he told them. Friends and family knew exactly what was coming—and they laughed anyway. His warmth, charisma, and joyful spirit were impossible to resist.

Above all else, Ron lived by the values of loyalty, friendship, acceptance, and support. He believed in keeping an open mind and an open heart. He welcomed people without judgment, stood by those he loved, and reminded everyone around him that life was meant to be enjoyed.

Ron will be remembered for his booming laughter, his Harley rides, his karaoke nights, his unforgettable stories, and the countless lives he brightened simply by being himself. His absence leaves an immeasurable void, but his love, humor, and generous spirit will continue to live on in his family, his friends, and everyone whose life he touched.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that Ron's greatest gift was the joy he shared so freely. His song may have ended, but the music, laughter, and love he brought into this world will echo for generations to come.
