Ronald (Ron) Roy Smelser 58 years old. Born April, 1956 in Denver, Colorado to Mary and Frank Smelser. Ron went to be in the loving arms of Jesus on April, 15, 2014.
Survived by Wife, Judy Wilmore Smelser; Mom, Mary Smelser; Daughter, Mandy Smelser Redabaugh; Son, Tim Smelser; Sister, Marilynn Gonzales; and 5 grandchildren: Kalea 11, Abrianna 10, Allie 8, Annalyse, 4 and Mitchell, 2.
Ron was a member of Grace Church in Arvada, Colorado, where he has been part of small groups and many other ministries, parking, handyman, and greeter. Ron has given many testimonies with his wife to help others who are struggling with cancer, and has led many to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, even when hurting or struggling himself he always stayed upbeat for those around him. Ron had such a strong faith and it brings peace to those who love him to know he is in Heaven.
Ron was loved by many and will be missed by all.
Funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 10:00 am at Grace Church 69th & Sheridan Blvd, Arvada, Colorado to celebrate Ron's life.
Interment at Crown Hill Cemetery, 7777 West 29th Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
