Ron Washburn, age 69, of Denver, entered sleep mode and had his final shut down on November 17, 2016.
Ron was born April 6, 1947 in Junction City, Kansas, to Imogene and Harold Washburn. He graduated from JCHS in 1965, entered the Air Force in 1966 and spent 4 years on active duty.
During his working years he was employed by multiple computer firms in various consulting positions. Among others he worked for Date General, Digital, HP, Raytheon and EMC retiring in 2012.
Ron loved the mountains and all of the associated outdoor activities, especially skiing, swimming in the "postage stamp sized" pool in the condominium complex where he lived, tennis, watching MMA fights on Pay Per View at his favorite sports bar, READING and watching TV.
Ron is survived by his sister, Anne Brumm; two brothers, Jerry and David Washburn, numerous nieces and nephews, Godson Eric Pivoris, his parents Lennie and Jeanne Pivoris and a host of friends. Ron was preceded in death by his parents and older brother John.

Cremation has taken place. Now that football season is over a Celebration of Life service has been scheduled (see below for details).
