In loving memory of Tech Sergeant Ronnie Edwards Born to Millie and Aquilla Edwards on June 9, 1938.
Ronnie was remembered by a host of family and friends, he served twenty years in the United States Military under the Air Force Regaf for 20 years as a Tech Sergeant beginning September 30,1975 and was Honorably discharged March 27, 1964. Ronnie retired from the military but was far from completely retiring as he began a business of his own a short time later , Owning an very popular and well known bar called the Huddle Inn where he had many friends and where he met the love of his life Sarah Hammond.
Not long after leaving the Huddle behind, Ronnie and Sarah began a janitorial company, Saron's Janitorial which they worked for many, many years. After completely retiring from all his companies, Ronnie enjoyed most of his day with his dog Zena. He enjoyed taking her on walks and to the dog park. He loved listening to the blues and country western music. He also enjoyed watching TV and relaxing in his bedroom. Ronnie will be missed and was loved very much by many. He had a good heart and always helped those in needs.
Ronnie is survived by his common-law wife Sarah Jeanette Hammond, and step children, Joe Royston, Anthony Hammond, Terri Hammond, Julann Hammond and twins Lawrence and Christopher Hammond.
With a host of step grand-children and great grand children.
Ronnie is also survived by his daughter Veronica (Roni) Edwards and her Children DeJon Lenston and BreJae Edwards and Niece Ashten Edwards. He is proceeded in death by his son Anthony Quinn Edwards.
