Ronora Mae (Baxter) Plocher

Ronora Mae Plocher of Englewood, Colorado passed away peacefully March 27, 2015 at 12:40am at her son Bruce Plocher's home in Littleton, Colorado. She had endured a battle with cancer for 4 ½ years. She was a strong lady and lived in her home until 1 ½ months ago, after that living with Bruce and MaryAnn.

Ronora was born January 5, 1931 at Stratton, Colorado to Cornelius Gladstone (Neil) Baxter and Lulu Mae (Messanger) Baxter. She lived in the Joes area her first 18 years. At the age of 6, during the dirty thirties, she spent time at Denver Childrens Hospital from complications of the flu turning into pneumonia. A girl classmate of Ronora's and a man in the community died from this illness. Ronora missed so much school that year that she had to retake first grade. She graduated with the Class of 1949 at Joes High School.

She met her soul mate Lyle Frederick Plocher in Joes. They were married December 5, 1949 at Raton, New Mexico. They made their first home in Denver, Colorado and later moved to Englewood, Colorado. God blessed them with almost 44 years of marriage. Lyle passed suddenly from a stomach aneurysm on November 7, 1992. Lyle and Ronora had three precious children: Lyle Jr, Bruce, and Cynthia Ann (Cindy). Six grand children, and 11 great grand children.

Ronora was preceded in death by her parents Neal and Lulu, her husband Lyle, her three brothers James Baxter, Wilbert & Leta Baxter, and Clarence & Jean Baxter, her sister Anabeth & Bill Beckman, niece Marjorie (Beckman) Meade, nephew Larry Beckman.

She is survived by her children and grandchildren:

Daughter: Portland and Tim Blevins children Tevih, Torey, Kaili, Kelsey
Son: Jordan Plocher, All of Phoenix, Arizona

Son Bruce and Mary Ann Plocher of Littleton, Colorado and their family.
Daughter: Tamara and John Bullock Jr. children John, and Miranda of Littleton, Colorado
Daughter: Carrie Ann Plocher of Littleton, Colorado

Daughter Cindy and Michael Wilkerson of Las Vegas, Nevada and their family.
Daughter: Dusty Marie Wilkerson of Las Vegas
Son: Wade and Nichole Wilkerson children Natalie, Anthony, Ryan, Brandon, and Jason of Las Vegas, Nevada.
