It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Rosalie Evelyn Church, affectionately known as "Snookie," who departed this life on September 23, 2025, in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 22, 1938, in Denver, Colorado, and graduated from West High School. A strong-willed individual, she faced life's challenges with grace and courage, qualities that inspired those around her.
As a wife for over 51 years to her beloved husband Robert, who has preceded her in death, Rosalie embraced her role as a partner and mother wholeheartedly. Together, they built a beautiful family and cherished each moment spent together—experiences that have become precious memories in the hearts of her surviving sons, Jeff (Cathy) and Jason.
She was known for her great cooking, and her meals brought loved ones together, fostering warmth and connection. Memories of taking the train from California to Colorado and spending joyful times at the family cabin in Lake Tahoe are reminders of adventures shared and laughter exchanged.
Rosalie was an active woman, loving sports in her youth, enjoying golf, tennis, and soccer, and later exploring new horizons through travel. She delighted in visiting beautiful places such as Italy, Spain, Hawaii, and Hong Kong, each journey adding a chapter to the rich tapestry of her life.
In addition to her sons, Rosalie leaves behind a bright legacy through her grandchildren, Noah and Madeleine. She also cherished her siblings, Virginia and Nick, along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, all of whom will remember her spirit with fondness and affection.
As we reflect on Rosalie Evelyn Church’s life, we honor a woman whose unwavering spirit, love for family, and joyous approach to life will continue to resonate in our lives and memories. Rest in peace, dear Snookie, knowing that your love will forever surround those you have left behind, guiding us as we navigate the world without you.
