Rosalind A. Brody, 77, of Aurora, passed away July 16, 2015.
She was born May 23, 1938 in Cheboygan, Michigan, the daughter of John and Beatrice (Brimacombe) Brody. She was a graduate of Cheboygan High School.
Rosalind is survived by her son, David Barr; two grandchildren, Ryan (Yvette Lanot) Ridlen and James (Madison Strouse) Barr; two brothers, Kenneth Brody and Joseph Brody. She is preceded in death by her father, John K. Brody; mother, Beatrice A. Brody; brother, John Brody; sisters, Shirley Bonnett and Pearl Brody; and David's father, Nelson Barr.
Rosie had strong family values and believed in the importance of family history. One of her hobbies was studying the Brody family's genealogy, and other hobbies were knitting and crocheting. She made friends quickly and was loved by all who got to know her. Rosie's personality was a strong one; she was cheeky, caring, sensitive, humble, clever, and confident. You could always count on her to tell it like it was. Her co-workers remember her as a hard-worker and stern but fair boss who you wanted to give your best to. There were many rooms lit up by her big smile and wit. Rosie was also lit up by her faith in God and belief that he would take care of her and her loved ones. She was blessed with a son and grandchildren who adored her for the many great qualities she had.
