Rose Ellen Cordova , 80, of Denver, passed away October 10, 2016.
She was born April 5, 1936 in Antonito, Colorado, the daughter of Francisco and Amelia (Lopez) Martinez.
On July 17, 1954 she married Jose T. Cordova in Taos, New Mexico.
Rose was a member of St. Cajetan Catholic Church.
Rose loved to crochet, knit, cook and bake. She also enjoyed playing cards and watching wrestling. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and babies of all ages.
Rose is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Jose T. Cordova; Four Daughters, Mary Ann (Teresa Arias) Rico, Alice (Don) Sedillo, Patsy (Jose M. ) Banuelos and Annette (Alvin) Craine; Four Sons, Tom (Kathy) Cordova, Jose "Joe" Jr. Cordova, Floyd (Deborah) Cordova and Lloyd Cordova; Adopted Son, Jose G. Cordova; 19 Grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren with many on the way; Two Brothers, Tomas G. (Edna) Martinez and Frank Jr. (Marcella) Martinez; Sister, Shirley Ann (George T.) McQuown; and Many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by Father, Francisco Martinez and Mother, Amelia Martinez.
