Rose Nilson , 91, formerly of Northglenn, CO passed away March 6, 2014.
She was born August 6, 1922 in Bayaud, Nebraska, the daughter of Adolph and Mary (Specht) Schmidt. On March 5, 1944 she married Royden Nilson, of Denver, Colorado.
Rose is survived by Son - Randy (Susan) Nilson and Daughter - Renee (Jim) Lang; Grandchildren - Michelle (Buddy) Kouns, Kristy (Jeremy) Fudge, Brian (Jayna) Lang, Ryan (Heather) Nilson, Tracey Nilson; seven Great Granddaughters; and two Sisters-in-law - Virginia Schmidt and Mickey Schmidt. She is preceded in death by Husband, Royden Arnold Nilson, four brothers and two sisters.
She was a member of NARFE, Jane Jeffersons, and Northglenn Elks Lodge.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Exempla Lutheran Hospice at Collier Center, 3210 Lutheran Pkwy., Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.
