Rudy Lawrence Apodaca

Rudy L. Apodaca, 67, of Aurora, passed away Thursday March 12, 2015.
He was born to Lawrence and Cecilia Apodaca, March 20, 1947 in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Rudy graduated from St. Michael's High School in 1965. He graduated from College of Santa Fe in 1977 and received a MA from CU in 1990. He was married to Vivia (Mary) in 1981.
Rudy taught school and worked as a draftsman for the oil and gas industry. In later life he worked for the Post Office as a clerk and was active in the American Postal Workers Union.
Rudy loved the outdoors, whether he was fishing, hunting, or camping with the Boy Scouts troop.
Rudy is survived by his father, Lawrence Apodaca of Santa Fe, NM, his siblings; Loretta, Lori, Val, Beth, and Paul. He is also survived by his wife Mary and three children Don, Anna and RC.
He was preceded in death by his mother Cecilia, and his son Ernest.
Memorial Services will be held March 22, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 2pm.
