Russell John Castillo

Russell John Castillo, born on October 16, 1957, in Denver, Colorado, passed away on November 4, 2026.

Russell will be remembered with love as a man who lived his life in his own way and carried with him a spirit shaped by dedication and endurance. He retired after many years as a motorcross racer, a path that reflected both his determination and his passion. He was preceded in death by his parents, Phyllis Castillo and John Castillo.

Russell’s memory will be cherished by his brother, Rudolph(Linda)Castillo. He also leaves behind a close and loving family circle that includes Eric and Kristy Castillo; Michelle and Ryan Thompson; Matthew and Lucas; and Mia and Noah. In addition to his family, Russell is remembered by a host of many friends whose lives were touched by his presence and companionship.
