Russell E. Cooney Jr. , 91, of Lakewood, Colorado, passed away on December 25, 2018. He was born to the late Russell and Sophie Cooney, July 19, 1927, in Lewiston, Illinois.
Russell is survived by his wife, Eunice Cooney, 2 daughters: Shirley Jean Porras and Catherine McGuire. He also is survived by 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He also is survived by two sisters: Dorothy Grove and Catherine Cooney.
A viewing will be held at newcomer West Chapel, 901 South Sheridan Blvd. , from 4pm to 8pm, Wednesday, January 2nd, 2019. Services will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Stage "B" on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 10:30am. Luncheon and Gathering will be immediately following service at Newcomer West Chapel 901 South Sheridan Blvd.
