Ruth "Anna" Filacheck

Ruth "Anna" Filachek, 79, of Aurora, Colorado passed away peacefully on October 26, 2026. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on December 17th, 1946, Anna moved to Boulder, Colorado in 1969 where she worked for many years in the Oil and Gas industry. In her 50s, Anna attended culinary school, graduated with honors, and found her true passion as a Private Chef.

Upon retirement, Anna became a resident of St. Andrew’s Village where she has enjoyed living for many years. She was an animal lover, a poet, a movie aficionado, and an exceptional chef. Anna is survived by her sisters, Joan Lodge and Lori Filachek. She will be remembered for her wit, humor, creativity and inspired cuisine. At her request, the family will hold a private service in her honor.
