S. Harrison Sadler, 53, of Aurora, CO, left us unexpectedly on Saturday July 4, 2015, to walk with the Great Spirit.
Harrison was born to Betty and Graham Sadler on March 27, 1962, in Lebanon, MO. He grew up in Missouri, Colorado, Kansas, and Virginia, where he graduated from Henrico High School in 1980. He married Linda Small in 1995.
In Denver, Harrison worked for Qwest for a number of years, then studied at Metro State University. Harrison was a gentle spirit who loved music and found his connection to Native American roots as an adult. His favorite community activity was Pow-wow, and his real passion was instrumental music. He played string bass and bass guitar until rheumatoid arthritis stole the use of his hands.
Harrison is survived by his wife – Linda Small-Sadler (Shreveport, LA); his parents – Betty and Graham Sadler; two brothers – Graham, Jr., and Lee, and his sister – Susan; his beloved daughter – Catherine Hilliard – and her mother, Patty; and nine nieces and nephews.
You are invited to join a celebration of Harrison's life on Saturday, July 25 at 2:00 pm at Parkview Congregational Church, 12444 E. Parkview Dr., Aurora.
In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to the Denver Dumb Friends League or your favorite charity.
