Salvador "John" Castillo 1936-2011
75 of Denver, entered into eternal life on Saturday, December 03, 2011. Beloved husband of Rose Marie Castillo, wife of 53 years. Two children: Johnny (Maria) Castillo and Tina Castillo. Three grandchildren: Aldo, Aaron, and Kendrick. Three brothers: Nash (Julia) Castillo, Steve Castillo, and Junior Apodaca. Six sisters: Rita Castillo, Mary Castillo, Lupe (Lorenzo) Espinoza, Virginia (Carl) Coddington, Theresa (Leroy) Romero, and Francis Fowler. Also survived by other extended family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents: Juan and Conrada Castillo. Salvador was employed by the City and County of Denver, for 32 years, as a gardener and florist. He worked at Washington Park for many years. Salvador was a devout Catholic. He was also an honored Marine Veteran. He was an avid sportsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as, his own personal gardening.
