A devoted family man, Sam cherished spending time with his wife, Mary, of 62 years. Together, they created a warm and welcoming home that became the heart of family gatherings. Sundays were especially special for Sam, as he looked forward to the family pasta dinners held at his house, where laughter echoed and stories were shared. The holidays were another joyous occasion, where he reveled in the company of his daughters Debbie and Cindy, and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved dearly.
Sam’s personality shone brightly; he was a happy and straightforward man, known for his candidness and matter-of-fact attitude. His unwavering love for his family was evident in everything he did, and he took immense pride in the accomplishments of his daughters, nurturing them with guidance and support as they grew.
An outdoor enthusiast at heart, Sam found solace and joy in the beauty of nature. His hobbies included fishing and hunting, excursions that often led him to the majestic mountains he adored. He delighted in sharing these adventures with family and friends, creating lasting memories amidst the serene landscapes.

A reception and time of gathering to celebrate Sam's life will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, West Metro, located at 901 S Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO 80226, on June 2, 2025. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Sam A. Canino Jr. will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on through the countless memories shared by his loving family and friends.
