He was born November 25, 1927 in Las Animas, Colorado, the son of Epifanio and Adela (Salmeron) Huereña. He married Maria "Sally" Celina Huereña on May 21, 1955 at St. Cajetan Catholic Church in Denver, CO.
He is survived by his Wife: Sally Huereña; Three Daughters, Angie Y. (Narciso) Garcia, Jackie J. Sandoval, Jeanine (Randy) Lopez; Five Sons, Joe T. (Ana) Huereña, John A. Huereña, Steve L. Huereña, Scott M. Huereña, James M. (Tammy) Huereña; 18 Grandchildren; 28 Great Grandchildren; Brother, Abe (Ursie) Huereña. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Son, Stanley James Huereña, Son, Samuel David Huereña, Grandson, Jared Huereña, Granddaughter, Francine Sandoval, Brother, Ted Huereña, Brother, Gus Huereña.
