Sandra L. Shaw

Sandra L. Shaw , 70, of Lakewood, passed away July 31, 2016.

She was born May 20, 1946 in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Joe and Emma (Placek) Davis.

Sandy graduated from Lincoln High School. She retired from Carruth Properties at the age of 65. Once she retired she became very active, joining a woman's golf league, a couples golf league with Steve and she also played pickle ball 3-4 times a week. But all these activities did not interfere with the time she spent with her family. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was their biggest fan at all sporting events and school events. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and made sure to do some spoiling along the way. Her family always came first, but she was also a wonderful friend and had a large circle of friends. Sandy always had a positive attitude which made everyone want to be around her. She was loved and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her, especially her family.​

Sandra is survived by her Husband, Stephen Shaw; Daughter, Kellie Cole; Son, Jay Sessions; Step-Son, Cory (Emily) Shaw; Three Sisters, Barb Sheldon, Betty Scruby, Dorothy Hise; Brother, Joe Davis, Jr.; Five Grandchildren, Braxton Thais, Brock Thais, Ella Shaw, Lauren Shaw, Kalee BeiFong Uchiha Roe.
