Sara Donnell Hovorka died April 27, 2016. She was 95 and lived in Lakewood.
Mrs. Hovorka was born in Geneva, Alabama on July 18, 1920. She married Charles A. Hovorka on December 31, 1945.
She served in the U. S. Army Air Corps as a First Lieutenant Nurse in World War II.
Survivors include her daughters, Debbie Eke of Lakewood and Patrice Anderson of Thornton; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughters, D'Nell and Diane and her husband Charles.
