Scott Eric Larson, 44 years old, from Aurora, Colorado, died March 2, 2012 from a bi-lateral pulmonary embolism as a result of a ski injury.
Scott was born in Denver, Colorado, but grew up in Richmond, Virginia. He graduated from Manchester High School, class of 1986. Scott graduated from the University of Colorado in 1991 with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology.
He started working part time at Park Forest Care Center in 1990 and remained with them for the next 22 years. He was their Admissions/Marketing Director. Scott was an avid skier and fly fisherman and could be found, every weekend, with his friends, either on a river or on the slopes. His Beagle, Daisy, was his ever-faithful companion. He was deeply saddened by her death this past July 2011.
Scott is survived by his parents, Eileen DeBuse Larson and Jerry Dean Larson of Albuquerque, New Mexico; his sister, Kirsten Larson Williams of Colorado Springs, Colorado; brother-in-law, Glenn Williams of Woodland Park, Colorado; nephew, Lars Avery Williams, and twin nephew and niece, Leik Elliot Williams and Erikka Jane Williams. He had many aunts, uncles and cousins from Colorado, Arizona, Washington, Missouri and Nebraska.
Services will be held Saturday, March 10, 2012 at The DoubleTree by Hilton Denver-Aurora, 13696 E Ilif Place at 2 PM. In celebration of Scott's life, the family asks you to take the time today to tell someone just how much they mean to you. Live for today.
