Scott L. Hansen

Scott L. Hansen, 39, of Arvada, was tragically lost in an unfortunate car accident on August 11, 2015. He was born January 29, 1976 in Miami, Florida, the son of Steven and Jeanette (Roberts) Hansen and was the second youngest of four children. Scott was a graduate of Wheat Ridge High School, veteran of the U.S. Navy, and long-time employee of Safeway.

Scott was a natural athlete who excelled in football and wrestling at Wheat Ridge High. He loved water skiing and time on the boat, not only for the athletic fulfillment, but more so for the quality time he had with friends and family. Scott was a kind soul with a giving heart. Scott enjoyed nothing more than helping others and bringing happiness into others' lives, especially his nieces and nephews.

Scott is preceded in death by his grandmother Lena F. Steiner. He is survived by his parents Steven R. and Jeanette L. Hansen; Two Brothers, David M. (Maryvonne) Hansen, Steven R. Hansen, Jr.; Sister, Haley A. (Jonathan) Sanders; Three Nieces, Angelica Hansen, Alexa M. Sanders and Tamara Hansen; Four Nephews, Jaxson C. Sanders, Brenden Hansen, Nathanial Hansen and Andrew Hansen; Two Grandfathers, Harold E. Steiner, Harri L. Hansen.

Scott's memorial services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home East Metro Chapel, 190 Potomac St. Aurora, CO 80011 on Friday August 21st at 11:00am. Memorial contributions may be made to www.gradientgivesback.com in honor of Scott L. Hansen.
