Scott Allen Lewis was born on July 17, 1955, in Denver, Colorado, and passed away peacefully at his home in Thornton, Colorado, on October 8, 2026, with his beloved daughter by his side.
Scott dedicated more than 50 years of his life to the same flooring company, a testament to his love and dedication to the flooring industry. He began his career laying carpet alongside his late father, Howard, before eventually transitioning to the sales side of the business.
Outside of work, Scott enjoyed a variety of hobbies. He loved playing golf, camping in their fifth-wheel trailer, riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and creating all sorts of trinkets on his 3D printer. He also enjoyed flying his airplanes with his LAMA friends. And, of course, Scott had a special talent for ordering all kinds of unnecessary stuff on Amazon.
Above all, Scott loved his family. He treasured the summers spent at his parents’ cabin and later enjoyed traveling with his late wife, Flavia, making memories that would last a lifetime. Whether he was off on an adventure, enjoying his favorite hobbies, or spending time with loved ones, Scott found joy in life and lived it to its fullest.
Scott is survived by his daughter, Kim; his grandchildren, Savannah, Rylan, and Nicholas; his brother, Dennis; his sister, Karon; his beloved pets Zach and Rocky and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Flavia; his sister, Sharon; and his parents, Howard and Florence.
Scott will be remembered for his kindness, love, and overall adventurous spirit.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
