Sharon LaVonne Utecht, age 83, passed away due to a tragic automobile accident on July 15, 2025.
Sharon was born on February 5, 1942, in Denver, CO to Leonard and Carolyne (Lueck) Wallace.
She attended Emmaus Lutheran School and North High School.
Sharon married the love of her life, Harold Utecht, on November 27, 1957.
They lived in Denver for many years and were blessed with two children.
Sharon worked as a machinist for Chapparal Industries for many years, eventually retiring due to being diagnosed with MS. While this did slow her down, it did not stop her love of gardening and family. Sharon lived in Arvada, CO with her daughter Lee Ann and enjoyed meeting friends for exercise class and her gardening.
She is survived by her brother Darrold Offield of Tucson, AZ, son Terry (Cathy) of Littleton and daughter Lee Ann (Scott) of Arvada. Sharon was blessed with four grandchildren: Amanda, Cassie, Heather and Sean. She also had five great grandchildren; Caleb, Ezekiel, Simeon, Ellie and Hailey whom she loved to see as often as she could.
She is preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Carolyne Wallace and her husband Harold who passed away in December 2007.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has offered support and kindness during this difficult time. As we come together to celebrate Sharon’s life—a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories—we invite you to join in this heartfelt remembrance.
