Shawntez James Jucar Kinney, 22, of Denver, passed away April 21, 2017.
He was born June 13, 1994 in Topeka, Kansas. He went to Lincoln High School and West High School and played basketball for both from 2010-2014.
He was very passionate about his family, music and basketball. He loved his boys very much. Shawntez played for the Jr. NBA and Jr. WNBA. He loved 2k and all his friends.
Shawntez is survived by his Mother, Corina Henderson and Step-Father, Danny Martinez; his two Sons, Shawn James Henry Kinney and Step-Son, Parnell Underwood Schofield Jr., his other half and soul mate, Ashley K. Ashlock; Brothers, Danny S. and Cornez D. Martinez and Sister, DanShay C. Martinez all of Denver, Co.
Shawntez is preceded in death by his Father, James D. Kinney and Grandmother, Rose Henderson.
Everyone is welcome to come to Tez's house after the visitation for Shawntez's favorite meals.
