Sherry Lynn Mills, 52, passed Saturday morning September 21, 2013.
Sher was born to Pamela S. Kent and Samuel A. Mills in Denver, CO. She had a younger brother, Jack Mills, and adopted younger sister, Shay Kent. Sher graduated from high school in 1978 and completed two years of college in Anaheim. She went into the hotel hospitality business and made quite a name for herself at the Marriott in Denver, where she met Brent Fosnight.
Sher was married to Brent from 1987 to 1989. They had two children, the late Amanda Fosnight and Samantha Fosnight who provided her with her only grandchild, Adriana.
Sher was a free spirit, bouncing around from place to place and never one to conform. She was witty and full of jokes, always trying to make others laugh.
A compassionate, highly intelligent lovable woman who was generous to a fault she would do anything for any of her friends and family. After the tragic death of her first child, Amanda, Sher never seemed to get back to living life at it's fullest without self-medicating. Unfortunately it took it's toll on her beautiful spirit and her joy for life.
We are all going to miss her terribly. No one can or will ever fill the void she left. We have lost a true character and a huge part of our lives has gone on with Sher.
