Shirley Rene (Green) Keller-Wolfe, age 55, passed away peacefully on July 17th, 2016 in Golden, Colorado.
The Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00pm – 4:00pm on Saturday, August 6th, 2016 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 13206 W. Green Mountain Drive, Lakewood, CO 80228
Shirley was born is Litchfield, Illinois to James D and Barbara J Green on August 18th, 1960. She moved to Albuquerque, NM at age 4, and at age 7, she moved to Carlsbad, NM where she would grow up. Shirley graduated from Carlsbad High school in 1978 where she ran track and cross country. She married Grant A Keller on December 26th, 1980. Shirley graduated from New Mexico State University in 1984. Shirley and Grant moved to Lakewood, CO in October of 1985. She began working with the Bureau of Reclamation from 1989 to 2012. After their separation, Shirley would then meet and marry the man she would live the rest of her life with, Richard D Wolfe. She was involved in Fibromyalgia awareness/support groups, was a Girl Scouts Leader for troop #57, served as band mom for Green Mountain High School marching band, and was a big advocate for veterans.
Shirley was preceded in death by her father James D Green (Papa).
Shirley is survived by her spouse Richard Wolfe; her daughters Alysia Keller and Danielle Jones; her step-daughters Tina Wolfe, Marlanena Wolfe; Step-son James Wolfe; her brother Dale Green; her mother Barbara Green; twelve Grandchildren and four great-Grandchildren.
