Simon J. Houlihan, 88, of Lakewood, died February 20, 2014.
Services will be Friday, February 28 at 11:00AM at St. Jude Catholic Church, 9405 W. Florida Ave. Rosary recited Thursday, February 27 at 7:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 901 So. Sheridan Blvd. Private Burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Reception at Gardens at St.Elizabeth, 2835 W. 32nd Ave. at 1:30 PM. All friends and family are welcome.
Born in Detroit, Michigan. Married Claire Marcia Limbach in 1948. She preceded him in death. Served in the Navy in WWII. Retired from St. Joseph Hospital. Survivors include sons, Ken of Arvada, Tom of Denver, Jim of Grand Junction; daughters, Kathy Lackey of Frisco, Paulie Young of Granby, Karen Houlihan of Grand Junction; brother, Michael of Georgia; sisters, Eileen, Ruthleen of Michigan and Lois of Rhode Island; 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Gardens at St. Elizabeth, Denver 80211
