Huereña, Stanley James
4/5/1962- 7/9/2013
Passed away peacefully with family by his side. He was suffering from liver failure. The family is very grateful he didn't suffer for a long period of time. He is home with Jesus now.
Stanley was born in Denver, CO to Sam and Sally Huereña. He is survived by his parents, six brothers: Joe, Sam (Barb), John, Steve, Scott and James (Tammy), three sisters: Angie (Narciso) Garcia, Jackie Sandoval and Jeanie (Randy) Lopez, uncles: Abe(Ursie) Huereña, Gus (Vera) Huereña, Ambrose (Priscilla) Pena and Uncle Dave Montoya, Stanley also had numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
Stanley was a natural born comedian. He absolutely loved to crack people up. This was evident very early in his life. He certainly knew how to lift a person's spirit. He liked to ride his bike or walk around Sloan's Lake on weekends. He did his best to stay in shape. He loved lots of different genres of music, but his favorite was classic rock, but there was only one thing he'd rather do than enjoy a rock concert in the summertime and that was to watch his beloved Broncos. He was the ultimate fan from the early 70's until their loss to the Ravens last January. He took that loss very hard. He was looking forward to the Broncos getting to & winning the big game this season. GO BRONCOS! He also enjoyed watching the Nuggets, Rockies & Avs.
Stanley was employed by Vitamin Cottage the last several years. He left behind many friends there as well as all the countless friends he made in his time here on earth. He touched many lives. We are all blessed to have known such a good man.
