Stephanie Jane Phillips , 48, of Lakewood, passed away December 30, 2015.
She was born April 30, 1967 in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of John and Betty (McComb) Phillips. She was a graduate of Green Mountain High School in 1985. She graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Humanities from University of Wyoming in 1992.
Stephanie was recently promoted to Assistant Manager at Christopher & Banks and was working there at the time of her passing.
Stephanie was a Past Honored Queen of Job's Daughters Bethel #8. She was also a member of Metro Chapter #157, Order of Eastern Star where she served as Worthy Matron 4 times. She was currently serving on the state level as Grand Lecturer. Stephanie was also a Masonic Band Camp Counselor for the last 12 years. She also volunteered for over 10 years at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
She loved reading, crafting, especially jewelry-making and needlework, cooking, and spending time with her nieces. Stephanie loved traveling, being outdoors, and gardening.
Stephanie is survived by her parents, John and Betty Phillips; Sister, Victoria Wittner; Two Nieces, Caitlin (fiance Brandon Taylor) Wittner and Fiona Bowman; Uncle, Ben (Doris) McComb; two aunts, Sharon Phillips and Johnette Phillips and Many cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ovarian Cancer Research Fund or to the Glen Monroe Memorial Youth Scholarship or to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
