Stephen Peter Kanizay
February 3, 1924 — April 16, 2013
Stephen Kanizay passed away April 16. He is survived by his wife; 3 sons; 4 grandchildren; & 2 great-grandchildren. He served as a combat engineer during WWII where he earned 2 Bronze Stars. He earned his doctorate in geological engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. Viewing Sunday, April 21 from 1 to 4 PM at Newcomer West. Interment at Fort Logan on Monday, April 22 at 11:15 AM, staging area C. In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to your favorite college.
