Steven Lynn Hanson "Steve", age 55 of Thornton, Colorado died on January 19, 2014 in St. Anthony's Central Hospital with his brother and sister by his side.
Steve was born to the late William Stevens Hanson & Gloria Hanson on July 4, 1958 in Logan, Utah.
Steve graduated from McKinley High School in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1976. He became a Certified Dive Instructor. He then lived in Sunnyvale, California where he worked as an Inventory Specialist for a large computer company. In 2011 he moved to Thornton, Colorado to be with his brother and sister-in-law. He was currently employed at Elms Haven Care Center.
Steve's hobbies included master builder of plastic model airplanes, boats and cars. He also enjoyed producing cassette tape audio recording with his best friend. He was an avid Star Trek fan. He loved music and enjoyed playing the guitar. His favorite band of all time was Pink Floyd. His quirky sense of humor shall be missed.
Steve is survived by brother Scott Hanson of Thornton, Colorado and his sister Vicki Lynn Hanson of Parker, Colorado.
A memorial honoring his life will be held at Elms Haven Care Center, 12080 Bellaire Way, Thornton, Colorado on Saturday January 25, 2014 at 2:00 P.M.
