From her earliest days, Susan’s caring spirit radiated to those around her. She spent her youth in Maryland, attending Bladensburg High School and graduating in 1970. A thirst for growth and learning defined her, leading her to later continue her education at Red Rocks Community College. These formative years shaped a woman who would meet every stage of life with curiosity, perseverance, and a deep sense of compassion.

Susan’s professional journey took her through many roles, each one marked by her diligence and graciousness. Most recently, she worked in retail for Sears, where her warm smile and thoughtful presence brightened countless days for those she encountered, whether they were colleagues or customers.

Music ran like a melody through the story of Susan’s life. Not only was she a singer, delighting family and friends with her voice, but she also nurtured this passion by taking singing lessons as an adult—a testament to her belief that joy and growth could be found at any stage of life.
