Susan Rae Reischman

Susan “Susie” Rae Busby Reischman passed away on Friday, Sept. 25th, 2026. She was born on March 9th, 1947, to Frances and Karl Busby. She was 79 years old at the time of her passing.

Robert “Bob” met Susan "Susie" Rae Busby in 1964, they later married on May 25th, 1974. They lived in Wheat Ridge, Colorado for most of their lives together but she was living in Thornton, Colorado when she passed. Bob passed away April 11th, 2021.

Susie had many jobs throughout her life including working for Jefferson County Court House, in home daycare business and sales associate at Foley’s and Macy’s. Susie donated her time to many charities and fundraisers over the years through the Elks organization. She also had many friends that she liked to spend time with at social gatherings and events. She was also a lifetime Denver Broncos fan and season ticket holder. She really enjoyed attending games with her husband and children over the years.

Susie is survived by her three children Ryan Reischman, spouse Amber Kippie-Reischman, Tanya Hilfer, spouse Steven Hilfer, Leon Reischman, and partner Garrett Mason. She is also survived by four grandchildren Emma, Asher, Shane and Brayden.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home 901 S Sheridan Blvd Lakewood, CO 80226 from 1pm-2pm on Thursday November 5th, 2026. A burial will be held after at Crown Hill Mortuary and Cemetery at 3pm.
