Susie Lucas was born July 20, 1933 in Platte city Mo. She attended school in Platte city. She later met and married her 1st husband James Edward Stone who preceded her in death in 1982. Soon after she met and remained happily married to her loving husband Rev. George Lucas until her passing. She worked various jobs as a head cook. She was a worldly traveler and found her home in Denver Co and worked as a head chef / caterer at Regis University. She loved watching her Denver Broncos and enjoyed talking to her grandsons about sports. She loved getting out and playing bingo. Susie was a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, and grandmother. She touched many lives with her love and kindness.
Susie is survived by her husband, George,children; Donna Patterson, Bertha Redwine, James Stone, Gwenette Stone, Cheryl Jackson, Winnie Jackson and Suzie Jackson, 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren, siblings; Barbara Dennis (Donald), Ruthie Elliott, James Roberson, and Alfred Roberson, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Harvey and Goldie Patterson, Children; Clarence Eugene Stone and Althea Johnson and siblings; Harvey Patterson, Othella Patterson, Kenneth Roberson, Charles Patterson, Harry Patterson, Helen Stiggers and Lydia Ware.
