Sylvia Bajwa, 54, of Aurora died Saturday March 8th at her home.
She was born June 18th, 1959 in Lubbock, Texas to Pedro and Rita Rodriquez.
Sylvia grew up in the Weld County area and attended school at Platte Valley in Kersey, Colorado as well as UNC in Greeley.
She worked most recently for TSA at Denver International Airport from 2002 until about a year and a half ago when she retired due to health issues.
Sylvia lived life to the fullest and loved the beach, music and dancing. She was a good friend to many and was dedicated to her nieces and nephews. She had love and laughter in her heart and will be missed by us all.
Sylvia is survived by three sisters, Julia Banks and Sarah Hernandez both of Greeley, Rita Jenkins of Aurora and one brother, Roy Rodriquez also of Greeley; five nieces, Jessica Hernandez and Danielle Chosa both of Greeley, Arianna Sandoval of Ft. Collins, Sara and Kaly Jenkins of Aurora, nephews Joshua Hernandez, Jordan, Jeremy and Jayson Rodriquez all of Greeley, James Figueroa Jr. of Loveland, CO and Mason Jenkins of Aurora, CO; two grand nieces, Deysiah and Sheala Sandoval of Ft Collins, and one great nephew, Sonny Sandoval also of Ft. Collins; also sister in law Terrie Rodriquez, brother in law Christopher Banks, and former brother in law and lifelong friend James Figueroa Sr. Sylvia's parents and a nephew Jason Hernandez are deceased.
Service is scheduled for 1 pm on Friday the 21st of March at Newcomer Funeral Home. Flowers may be sent to Newcomer Funeral Home at 190 N. Potomac Street Aurora, CO 80011.
