Listen to Obituary

Teri Lynn Christopher was born to Ray Miller, father and Peggy J. Miller, mother in Wichita Ks.

Teri was an avid reader, loved history and had a special interest in encouraging children. In December 1975 Teri expressed her desire for individualism by changing her surname from Miller to Christopher. Teri spent 2 years as a student at Colorado University. After leaving college in the 1970's she relocated to California where she worked for the Bell telephone company. In the 1980's Teri went back to Colorado where she worked at Denver International Airport in their ground transportation division.

Teri loved animals, especially dogs and horses. For a few years she rode and cared for her own stallion. She always kept company with an adorable dog. First with Zeus, then Mandela and finally Sadie. She was also well connected in and practiced Buddhism for several decades.

In 2001 Teri sustained a brain aneurysm which left her partially paralyzed. In spite of this challenge Teri successfully obtained a BA degree from Regis University, graduating Cum Laude.

Teri had a phenomenal memory and would recall personal and family experiences in great detail. Funny and disarming, Teri had a very pleasant personality and was well liked by family, friends, neighbors, co-workers and peers.

Teri was preceded in death by both parents, brother Kevin Miller, and nephew Dejon Miller. She is survived by her sister Regina Friend and brother Kirk MIller. She will be greatly missed by her siblings, nieces, Camille Friend and Cefawne Miller, nephews Chase Miller, Sean Miller, Brandon Miller, Cameron Friend and a host of cousins, uncles and aunts.
