Terry McEnerney died Saturday the 8th of August in the familiar surroundings of his home, with his beloved wife, sister and other family/friends at his side.
Terry was born in 1943 in Brooklyn NY and after graduating high school, he joined the Army. After his service concluded, he began working for the Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES), where he stayed for nearly 30 years until his retirement in 1996. His career at AAFES enabled him to travel and work around the world, including the Philippines (where he met his lovely wife Liz); Tacoma WA, Oakland/Hayward CA; Aurora CO; Germany; Waco TX; and then returning to Aurora CO for his retirement years.
He enjoyed traveling and also being a tour guide to all his family and friends who visited. He loved to entertain and his parties were always accompanied with fun and laughter, never mind a drink or two. He also enjoyed gardening around his home and spending time with his vast array of friends and family.
He is survived by his wife Liz, sister Kathy Petagna and several nieces and nephews, all of whom live in New Jersey; and of course his constant companion Bordox.
