God brought Thelma Mary Pradia home on August 11, 2025, at 9:30 PM, with the coroner's time recorded as August 12, 2025. Thelma was a remarkable mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, whose spirit radiated love, empathy, and generosity.
With over 40 years in nursing, she dedicated her life to caring for others, serving in various roles including CNA in nursing homes and hospitals, working at a cancer clinic, and in labor and delivery, ultimately retiring as a surgical instrument technician. Thelma was a fierce defender of family values, instilling in her children and grandchildren the importance of accountability, standing up for what is right, and the power of a sincere apology.
Her profound faith was matched only by her calming presence and healing touch, a gift many recognized and cherished throughout her life. Thelma leaves behind three loving children, Cynthia, Katherine, and Vincent, while her eldest son, Norman, preceded her in death. She is also survived by two sons-in-law, James and Javier (affectionately known as Aries), and leaves behind a deep love for Javier’s family, the Madrigals, who have been a cherished part of her life for over 20 years, both in the U.S. and Mexico.
She leaves behind five grandchildren—Dina, Natasha, Sonya, Vincent (a.k.a. Vinnie), and Christine—along with two sisters, Lucille and Mary. Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Jolivette and Mary Jolivette, as well as 20 siblings, reflecting a large and loving family legacy. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Thelma's legacy of love and compassion will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew her.
