Theresa was baptized on June 9, 1945 and joined the Adams Mennonite Brethren Church. She has always been an active member in any church she attended, most recently Southern Gables
Evangelical Free Church in Littleton, Colorado. Theresa was active in Community Bible Study, Bible Study Fellowship, and other Christian organizations. She was involved in the lives of her children and encouraged them in every aspect of their lives. Theresa enjoyed watching the children and grandchildren in their sports, music, and other school activities.
Theresa loved her grandchildren and served as a mentor to them. When she got a smart phone and learned to text, she frequently texted the grandchildren. These texts often included a scripture from her devotions and walk with the Lord.
Norman and Theresa always had an open home and the gift of hospitality. There are many other 'children' that called her Mom and Grandma. She opened her home and her heart to Edie (Megert) Walters (Jim), and Gary He & Jodie Wang along with their children.
